small office employee benefits helpFrom: Douglas Krell (djkrell@ix.netcom.com)Tue Mar 27 20:00:11 2001
For a solo OBGYN practice, does anyone have suggestions regarding vacation, sick leave policies for your employees? I've been giving people 1 week unpaid vacation 1st year w/ no sick leave .................2 weeks vacation the 2nd year 1 week paid 1 unpaid w/ 1 week sick leave (paid back if unused). .................2 weeks paid vacation 3rd year w/ 1 week sick leave (pd back etc.) .................after 3 years no changes except vacation time can accrue up to 30 days vacation plus sick leave. Is this too stingy? too generous?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
