I agree with Efrain, this patient is an addict. Been there with other patients in the past. One was a PA's wife, he was giving her injections at home. She needs to work with a neurologist, pain clinic and go through rehab, all alternatives have to be explored - antidepressants, beta blockers, Imitrex, Zomig, Maxalt, etc. At Sat, 17 Mar 2001, Efrain Ramirez wrote: > >Agree - AND - (I hope I am wrong) you are dealing with an addict. > >At Sat, 17 Mar 2001, Len2976@aol.com wrote: >> >>Neurology Consult? >> >>Lenora McCall, CNM > >-- >"Life is neither the notes nor the silence between the notes, but the music that > arises out of sound and silence felt as a living whole. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
