Re: 'The Gynaecologist' QuarterlyFrom: Belal Hossain (bhossain@doctor.com)Wed Mar 7 02:40:27 2001
Dr Ahmed. I understand your frustrations of being a male OB/GYN in a country where literacy rate is <50% and religious outlook, practically speaking, forces women to deal with men other than their husbands, like an Alien.Reports are coming,in USA even, female OB/GYN are ahead of that of opposite sex so far as popularity is concerned though actual fact they can unveil.Anyhow I can mail you papers on different topics based on statistical evidence, particularly on the topics of population, female literacy rate, contraception, acceptance of different methods of contraceptions, failures etc.these are my favourite topics outside my clinic practice. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
