well, Betsy, from the gist of the posts - that's exactly what's happening. and for the OB's it's in reverse. what is happening with many is that if the OB is covering a midwife or FP who is not formally associated with the group, then his/her denominator is not including the deliveries of those referring. not only is this unfair but it begs the real question - again, why is section rate an outcome measure? art

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
