GEN: Call schedule calendarFrom: Garry Siegel (garrys@mindspring.com)Sun Feb 25 16:25:36 2001
Does anyone have any suggestions on a program that I can use to make a call and office location schedule? For years, I have used an older version of Calendar Creator, version 2.0 dating to 1993. I just bought the newest version, 7.0, and it can sync to PDAs. However, it has been changed a good bit, and I'm a bit slow on figuring it out. My goal is to create a 3 week or monthly calendar on an 8.5 by 11 piece of paper, showing on each day: Which doc is in which office (requires 4 slots) who is on call--usually at the bottom any on/off/vacation requests I have played with MS Outlook, but I couldn't figure out how to assign an event (say, "Siegel call") to sporatic, not repetitive days. One of the good things about the old Calendar creator is that you could create an event ("Siegel call") and then click on the days to apply it. Maybe you can do that with the new version, but I'm having a heckuva time. Garry

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
