Bob - do you have a proposal - it is possible that you are 100% free market/libertarian and your solution is to erase all laws regarding these (and other?) issues and see what happens. Do you think there is any chance that the humans of USA (or anywhere else?) have evolved where the free market could really work and have enough altruism to go around?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
