When I was working in Hawaii, which supposedly has mandated employer-provided health insurance, I noticed a lot of people without health insurance. How? They get rated as 74% time, just short of the threshold that mandates insurance be provided. (I can't remember what it is, I'm guessing 75%.) These people have to strictly watch the clock and not work even an extra hour.

It's the kind of assinine, backwards, inefficient, freedom-erosive result that you always get when governments try to do things that intrude in private business.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
