Joe -

much has to do with a climate inimical to small biz who can't provide benefits. what we get are many part timers who don't get benefits. certainly not a choice. folks make too much for medicaid - too young for medicare - no benfits and not enuff $$$ for insurance.

health costs have risen 3 fold in NY since 1990 yet this money not going to docs in NY. on top of all of this is the tort nightmare which plagues us all. we sorely need real solutions, not harold and louise, not crisis - single issue short term band aids but real solutions. perhaps Bob will save us all?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
