MRI superior to u/s for noninvasive dx of adenomyosis. as in many instances, ultrasound tells you there is something there; it doesn't always tell you what it is.

since described as submucus, Pete, would concur with el re: elective section - similar to myomectomy with cavity entered. have no reference re: risk of uterine rupture prior to labor - the real fear here.
