Bleeding in first 2 months after AblationFrom: Joanne Bulley (islesannie@yahoo.com)Thu Jan 25 21:30:57 2001
Suggestions welcome. I have a 40 something woman who received 3-month Lupron in December and 2 weeks later had an ablation. (I usually wait 3-4 weeks from the Lupron to the ablation) The surgery went fairly smoothly (an instrument glitch with a cord that got corrected). There was no suggestion of perforation (no loss of glycine or I/O differential) and she did well in PACU (recovery) and went home that day. She is now 4 weeks post op and had a serosanguinous drainage for a while but is now bleeding more like a period.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
