We occasionally use vaginal cytotec (800micrograms) a couple of hours before procedure for difficult cervical dilatations that we do under GA prior to embryo transfer. When I looked up the evidence there were 2 RCTS using misoprostol prior to hysteroscopy that suggested it made things easier.
