Well Christina the MA is focused. Of course OB's don't require chaperoning and neither do some consults. Standing in for a PAP only takes 5 minutes and I tend to alternate easy/hard or short/long visits. It gives her time to maneuver. Occasionally the LPN can step in to help me if the MA is busy. Also Christina has time to do lab work filing so I usually have no problem finding her when I need her. Actually I just hired Christina 6 mo ago. Before that my LPN did it ALL!!!! (Of course she was ready to commit suicide, kill me, or quit).

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
