This is a dangerous myth that you have to come off the pill to maintain endometrial health. The only reason the placebo tablets were put in the packs in the first place was because the initial trials showed that a monthly bleed reassured users that they weren't pregnant. The initial plan was for the pill to be continuous. NEVER advise stopping except for a week to gain a withdrawal bleed, it is quite safe to take continuously same as HRT.
