This was reported also in the Lancet I think late 1980's authors were Luca Fusi and Prof Phil Steer, then at West London Hospital.

There is some evidence that epidural by itself induces a fever in a significant number of patients. I don't remember whereit was published, but it was written by Watson Bowes.

Maggie

My personal idea is to avoid antibiotic before urine sample and hemograme. I have seen a case of fluid contamination (i.e. 5DW), but I don't believe that your country would have this kind of problem. I agree with you that it is too early for chorio

I would wait a little bit long, check CBC and Urine and follow the evolution of the case.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
