Eventhough there was no any abortion or and child had any difficulties after birth including jundice. Can anybody explain about this? I looked this up a couple of years ago because I consulted on a home birth patient who had had 3 home births and never got rhogam because the midwife in her previous location "didn't believe in it". Apparently only 30% of exposures result in sensitization and she had been lucky too. She did take rhogam after the fourth one. Decided not to keep pushing her luck.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
