In Re Baby KFrom: Dean Huffman (jth@springnet1.com)Sat Dec 30 13:29:35 2000
A few years ago there was a law suit about a baby referred to as "Baby K". This baby was an anencephalic, but had survived a year or two and the courts said that Baby K had to be treated every time it came to the ER from its chronoc care facility. The court sited the Americans with disabilities act and other laws. Does anybody know whether or not Baby K is still alive?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
