Something may be wrong with the fetus--just a sneaky suspicion. If labor is arrested satisfactorily, what about a targeted ultrasound if not yet done, and did you send off chromosomes with the amnio (I bet you did)?

In any case, seems like you are obliged to treat her preterm labor, as we all do, despite the lack of evidence that it makes a difference. If she gets far along enough to have a bubba, then you get into the discussion of what EFW motivates you to recommend a section without labor at term.
