Paul.

If I weren't experiencing it first hand, I wouldn't believe it either. Occurrences like I mentioned today make me wish for some of the practices the experts on the ACOG update tapes seem to have.

I remember one where the expert making a comment on a tape regarding abnormal uterine bleeding something like this "of course your patient might just have returned from a trip to Europe or the Middle East and the stress has induced her menstrual irregularities..." or the one on another tape that mentions "the patient you are working up for infertility might just be having a hard time getting with her partner because of her long hours as a partner in a law firm" or something like that.

Of course a practice with >50% Medicaid has its own aura. A great many of my patients are unemployed, unmarried, pregnant with a baby that has a different father than her previous baby, smokers, drug users/seekers, or some combination thereof.

As concerns the Springer show, I'd be satisfied with a finder's fee.

LOL

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
