Re: Implants for HRT used in the UKFrom: art fougner, md (evsono@pipeline.com)Mon Dec 18 08:04:36 2000
easy to throw stones here but docs are human too. if payments are drying up, then volume becomes an issue and the amount of time spent per "life" ( as the insurance industry is want to term folks) becomes inversely proportional to the din emanating from the waiting room. also, i've not seen patient counseling as a big ticket item on the reimbursement scale. not a defense - just an observation. laws of thermodynamics apply - can't get more than what you pay for. just my opinion. i could be wrong. art

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
