There are some 1999 Guidelines that I believe were from the colon and rectal guys society, and were one of the articles for my annual board re-certification. They stratified the screening type and age based on risk, such as if you had a family history of colon cancer, and how close/what age, etc.

I have the reference on my laptop, and at the office, and I'll post eventually.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
