Why should she have to say anything? Like most "consumers," she simply votes with her feet. We all make judgements in our lives based on personal values that may not be understood by others. Sometimes it gets you in more trouble to explain why you are doing something, rather than simply doing it. Don't get me wrong, I'm certainly not in favor of discrimination, but like most other areas of life, I am in favor of autonomy and personal choice.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
