Then when you bill with the "this was a beyond hard hyst" modifier - charge DOUBLE ... With Medicaid you will probably not get any extra - they - the proverbial 'they' - say - "so you got the big bucks for others that were a piece of cake" Even tho' you got less than peanuts for any medicaid case... I still do them - cause I think it is the right thing to do. I just hope to manage my payor mix so the medicaid/medicare are not the majority of the patients...

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
