Doesn't your hospital have written policies for dealing with MRSA? It isn't that bad an infection.

Vanco resistant enterococcus is much worse because it lives on inanimate surfaces, like most of the patient's room, the patient's possessions etc.

I think our hospital took our policies straight from the relevant government organization, probably the CDC. Gail Waldby, MD Huron Clinic SD At 10:38 PM 11/2/2000 -0600, you wrote: >wrote last week about patient colonized with MRSA. before i could

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
