Well, I treated her with PO Flagyl after giving her Phenergan for nausea and she came back with no vaginal discharge, and no Trichamonads. That was a month ago. Guess whatŠit¹s back and she swears she has had no intercourse or insertion of anything into the vagina, and she does not wear the same underwear for a week, nor does she wear anyone else¹s? I tend to believe her, but now where do I go from here? Could she have an amniotic infection? Would you do an amniocentesis? The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
