When available in a multi-dose vial, it is around $20 for 10 doses. However, it's unavailable as of now.

Last year, we had plenty, and put up office signs, and recommended it to all 2nd and 3rd trimester folks, and any nonpregnant folks who wanted it.

With managed care aggrevation (we're maybe not the PCP--can we bill for a flu shot) and local drug and grocery stores giving shots for $10, we had an easy policy--if you want it, pay us $10. We did not bill carriers, and covered our expenses (labor, syringes, etc.). That's what the drug and grocery stores charged, too.

We will do the same this year if we get enough, and we're thinking $20 :).

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
