Re: Flu Shot in Pregnancy???From: DoctorJoe@aol.comTue Oct 31 06:12:38 2000
In a message dated 10/31/00 6:12:12 AM, l.glazerman@rcn.com writes: << I'm recommending it to all pregnant moms. >> It's hard to get just now. I ordered some from the local pharmacy weeks ago (knowing I should think ahead) and it's STILL not in. My regular pharmacy will sell it for about $7.00 US a shot, in boxes of 10 prefilled syringes. So it probably is reasonable to buy it and give it yourself. Anyone have the CPT codes that would be appropriate for vaccination+injection+etc? Joe P.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
