Pt. # 1--32 week IUP presented with c/o bleeding gums, nosebleeds, and purple legs; platlets--10,000 CNM from our practice spoke to patient yesterday who is at local medical center. Platlets now 3000!! Told they don't know why--she will be getting steroids. Don't have any additional information yet, labs,etc. Will try to contact perinatal fellow or staff tomorrow. Pt # 2--20 week IUP with oligohydramnious (AFI--1.9) still waiting appointment for Level 2 U/S and perinatal appointment. Is at rest at home, forcing po fluids. Lenora McCall, CNM

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
