is it true that prematurity is *directly related to prenatal care (or lack of it) * as you state? I'm not sure that's been proven.

my gut feeling is that racial and socioeconomic status probably have more to do with prematurity rates than prenatal care, per se.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
