I returned home yesterday evening after a wonderful two weeks vacation in Massachusetts (minus my computer) to read an email with some Very sad news.

Your friend and ours Jim Conneth has died.

One of your "Women's Health" editoral advisors, James E. Connerth, M.D. of Hopkinsville, Ky, died a week ago today. He suffered an apparant heart attack while in Atlanta racing his vintage Porsche.

Many of you may remember the photo he sent us with Paul Newman when he won a race. He was one of our original Women's Health Advisors and used the name babydoc as his email address.

Jim and I corrosponded every few months and when I had a question about my health or someone else's or needed a doc to check someone our on the forum He was my main man.

Many of you may not know that Jim suffered from a heart problem but as he once told me, "I intend to live everyday that I here and do whatever I want to do"............ and he did.

I am sure all of you will be saddened by this email but as your fellow list-friend I have to tell you of his passing.

Sadly, Barbara

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
