Geff, you are right on the money. I've been there, done that. FWIW, my 3 doc group is a nice compromise, as I deliver a good number of my patients (especially weekday, daytime deliveries even when not on call), and miss just a few after hours/weekends when not on call. As I've gotten older, and the practice of medicine has changes, the motivation to be there for everyone all of the time has diminished somewhat.

That said, keep up the good work.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
