I am not complaining.. It is what I love about my job, meeting a young couple that has just found out they are having a baby, building rapport with my patient as her as the pregnancy progresses, and then being there for the delivery.. Missing the last part ruins the satisfaction (patient and doctor)..

It is one of the reasons I left the large medical group I worked for, they wanted to change the call to a hospitalist system.. Forget it.. That is not why I went into OBGYN..

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
