Funny you should ask. This morning I was greeted by a patient in active labor after spontaneous rupture of membranes at 35 weeks 5 days, twin gestation, vertex/complete breech, babies both 2500g by sono. History of 3 previous vaginal deliveries, largest baby 8 lb 9 oz. Exam shows cervix 4cm dilated, 100% effaced and paper thin, first baby at 0 station. Mom doesn't care how she has the babies, just wants the pain to go away.

What would you do?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
