Geez! Sounds like we really need to enforce starting the informed consent process prior to conception. I have an idea, the prospective fathers need to discuss the risks of pregnancy and childbirth before they impregnate their women. That would save us all a lot of time and effort. It would also give the lawyers a new target for law suits!

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
