Agreed 100%. Did exactly this in a younger but even heavier (195Kg) patient at beginning of this year. -----Original Message----- From: Mario Colombo, MD [mailto:emmecol@tin.it] Sent: 11 October 2000 15:44 To: Multiple recipients of list OB-GYN-L Subject: R: Adenocarcinoma of the uterus This seems a case of endometrial cancer in a patient at high operative risk. I would perform a vaginal hysterectomy (with BSO, if possible) and I would decide about postoperative radiotherapy on the basis of pathologic specimen and stage.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
