Fw: FW: CytotecFrom: acf (evsono@pipeline.com)Mon Oct 2 13:40:44 2000
just received this from Dr. Zinberg - looks positive. art
>----- Original Message ----- Art: I have contacted Dr. Sanchez-Ramos, provided the E-mail got through. Look at the October issue of ACOG's monthly newsletter ref misoprostol. The approval of RU-486 by the FDA makes Searle's letter obsolete. Regards. SZ
>>> "acf" <evsono@pipeline.com> - 10/2/00 1:24 PM >>> dear Dr. Zinberg - i want to thank you again for the introduction you gave me way back when on the night i graduated from NYU - Bellevue Residency - how time flies and what a small world. i think you are doing a fabulous job. the cytotec issue is very important to the OB's on Ob-Gyn-L@Obgyn.net. since this is a world-wide mailing list, this issue is an embarrassment to all Americans. A strongly worded statement in support of a common practice grounded in evidence - based medicine would go along way. you could consider contacting Luis Sanchez-Ramos at luis.sanchez@jax.ufl.edu) . Luis has done a great deal of work with metanalysis of the use of cytotec for this purpose. thanks again. art fougner, md

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
