End stage MS patients go into urinary retention and end up with permanent catheters or self caths. Since, PVR is 300 cc, I would suspect the incontinence is overflow incontinence and the primary diagnosis is urinary retention due to MS. Linda Linda Morrison-Boczar, M.D. FACOG

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
