Forgive me for beating this dead horse again. One of the hospitals at which I have privileges banned VBACs in Feb. They have asked me to join a committee to re-study the issue. If I could get simple answers to the following questions I'd appreciate the effort. 1. IN HOUSE ANESTHESIA YES/NO 2. DEDICATED C/S OPERATING ROOM YES/NO 3. IN HOUSE OPERATING ROOM CREW YES/NO 4. HOW MUCH TYPE 0 Rh- BLOOD AVAILABLE AS A MINIMUM? My opinion is that this particular institution probably should not be doing OB at all, and I have moved my delivery location elsewhere. As a member of the staff however, I am "required" to assist the Med Exec in solving this issue. Kevin Dew OB/GYN

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
