Good luck!! I had a former patient's husband make a death threat against me, witnessed by a home health nurse. After investigation by the local police as a possible "terrorist threat," the DA threw it out. The same family had made a threat to blow up our OB unit, also disregarded as simply a disgruntled family. Of course, if they had made that same threat on or about an airline or school, they would have been sent to the big house. Two weeks later I was served papers on behalf of this same family whose baby is CP, I cared for them during the pregnancy, but my on-call covering MD delivered.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
