> I'm finally getting around to reading "House of God." Glad to hear your reading "The Book" Bob. I have made a point to always have a copy in my office and make it available for all the students and residents that have rotated with me through the years. Baylor's OB residency, to this day, gives out an award at the end of each year to the chief that provides the most guidance and leadership to the "fledgling" interns and residents. The award in called "The Fat Man Award". Samuel Shem actually spoke at my medical school's graduation a few years back. Lynn

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
