I can't believe you're just reading this. I read it as an intern, 24 years ago, and still remember the rules of the house.

Interestingly, a doc at our hospital just moved here from Boston, and had worked at Beth Israel (which is the House of God).

Lots of people from the book are still there, including fat man, who is apparently the chief of GI

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
