Where is she getting the alcohol to cause the gi tolerance to be that poor? I have had women who get the N&V with metronidazole from the alcohol from the spray deodorant or perfume/cologne. Also - there is alcohol in many of the various and sundry cr** that is sprayed etc on hair, skin etc. I bet she is getting a bit of alcohol into her blood stream some way and that is why she could not tolerate the PO Flagyl.

I agree with someone else - try the name brand. Some of those preps are better tolerated.
