Once she is past the nausea/GI stuff associated with early pregnancy, she may be able to tolerate the oral metronidazole. Anectdotally, IV flagyl is fairly nasty too...my oncology patients complained about GI problems (nausea, bad taste) with the IV flagyl. aloha, ginny >Sugar Land, TX 77478
