Once she is past the nausea/GI stuff associated with early pregnancy, she may be able to tolerate the oral metronidazole. Anectdotally, IV flagyl is fairly nasty too...my oncology patients complained about GI problems (nausea, bad taste) with the IV flagyl. aloha, ginny >Sugar Land, TX 77478 >Tel: 281-277-3900 >Fax: 281-277-3901 > >rchudacoff@mylinuxisp.com <mailto:rchudacoff@mylinuxisp.com> >Richard.Chudacoff@obgyn.net >

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
