I remember a much more elegant proof, although probably politically incorrect. You musta heard this one before! Three Native American primagravidas presented at the reservation level III center for elective Cytotec inductions. Neither were VBAC's and only one seemed a little litiginous. One of the women brought her oversized pillow, a back massager and a cow hide mattress cover, to labor upon. She delivered a healthy singleton infant with excellent Apgars. The second did ok, laboring on a nauga-hide pad. She had a long list of requests, but most were acceptable to the obstetrician and the one from the other group who was covering that night. She delivered a healthy AGA baby. The third woman insisted on laboring on a hippopotamus hide which was traditional for her tribe. She must have been scanned by a non-AIUM certified center, because to the surprise of her obstetrician, she delivered, vaginally (vertex/breech) twins!. thus proving: The squaw of the hippopotamus is equal to the sum of the squaws of the other two hides. Gary Kleinman c'mon! you must have heard that one before!

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
