Betsy If you give a primiparous patient wth a "totally unripe cervix and unruptured membranes" pitocin, how roughly long does it take to get her into active labour (ie fully effaced cervix, 3-4cm dilatation)? At what dilatation would you perform an AROM? Viv Betsy Hyde wrote:

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
