economic data

Fellow OBGYN.netters,

Once again I need some of your brain power -- I'm writing a book on pregnancy after 35 (for consumers, not med professionals) and one chapter is on the costs of having a baby.

Despite extensive Internet searching, and an inquiry to ACOG, I'm having a hard time finding what I'm looking for. I do have a coding book giving costs in my region, but I'm interested in national US data (and for my own curiosity, international data if any one has that).

If you could point me to a source, either on-line or in print, I'd greatly appreciate it. One of the (very few) disadvantages of living where I do is lack of access to a good library.

Thanks!

Kelly

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
