PCOS and metforminFrom: Alexandra Borisova (alexandra.borisova@internationalsos.com)Fri Jul 21 10:28:39 2000
Dear colleagues, What is your opinion about this case? Patient 29 y.o., with PCOS, obesity, infertility is resistant to Clomid (no ovulation for 3 months on dose 150 mg/day). Her fasting insulin level is normal (5.5 mU/ml) Should we try metformin for stimulation of ovulation at this case anyway or it is better to put patient on gonadotropin stimulation scheme? Thanks.
