What they work *beautifully* for is afterbirth pains, which can be a real nasty experience, esp for women getting past P3, much better than acetominophen. Generally we use Tyelenol or Tyelenol w/ codeince, and ibuprofen. That's it (not just me, everybody). Even for post sections -- Tylenol #3 seems to do the trick. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
