I'm not sure NSAIDs work really that well, if there's a significant pain problem. Of course, if it was a vaginal delivery without any significant episiotomy, etc, then you don't need much. Why write an Rx for Motrin (which is more expensive) when they can buy generic ibuprofen and just take 4 at a time? Joe P.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
