Lawyers have the internet too and their non-US buddies are starting to get on the litigation bandwagon as well! And guess what - maybe this latest study will show that C/S is safer than vaginal delivery for breeches - surely termination of the trial speaks for itself! Once again, as has been said before - maybe the C/S rate is too LOW! Maybe evolution of the human species will result in a high cesarean section rate - maybe 50 to 100 years from now, obtetricians will look back on us and laugh at our antiquated ways of vaginal delivery - and urogynecologists will be out of business, because there won't be anymore prolapse, SUI or rectal incontinence! (Stirring the yogurt) - to paraphrase "Apocalyse Now" -There's nothing like the smell of a good ruptured uterus at 3 oclock in the morning! Robert Modugno MD MBA FACOG Marietta, GA

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
