What data on interference??? Only 1 hospital in town has a policy forbidding their use. I was shocked when I went into a hospital that had this policy. We have hundreds of people using them all over the place everyday. Dan R. Daniel Braun, MD FACOG Clinical Professor Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Indiana U. It was a few years ago before the data on interference with medical devices was established. On a follow up note, are all hospitals worldwide adopting this policy of non-use within several metres of electronic equipment now? Regards, Danny

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
